Last-mile delivery in Dubai: routing is not the whole system

Dubai last mile fails at the door and the depot, not on the polyline.

Dubai is not a generic last-mile slide

Building access, peak-hour bans, summer heat on drivers, and customers who want an OTP at the door. A route optimiser that ignores vehicle availability and POD capture will still dump failed stops on WhatsApp at 18:00.

FleetERP treats last mile as a fleet problem: the same asset register, the same workshop clock, the same fuel. Route suggestions sit on top. Failed stops become exceptions with a reason code, not a screenshot.

FAQ

Questions this piece usually raises

No. It is the operator system: which vehicle is free, which stop failed, which POD is missing, and how that trip bills. Drivers can use the mobile app; customers should not need a second stack.
